Enhance your cup and add flavour to your morning beverage with do-it-yourself, delicious syrups – from sweet vanilla to indulgent chocolate.
If you enjoy experimenting at home and have a sweet tooth, these easy infusions mean you can put your own twist on your signature JURA blend.

Chocolate syrup

Ingredients

  • 200g sugar
  • 201ml water
  • 200g cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)

Method

Whisk the sugar, water, cocoa powder and salt together in a saucepan then bring to the boil. After 3-5 minutes the syrup will start to thicken, at this point add the vanilla extract. Allow to cool and refrigerate.

Vanilla syrup

Ingredients

  • 200ml sugar
  • 200ml water
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Method 

Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Let cool then add the extract and refrigerate.
